The International Refrigeration Committee

The UK International Refrigeration Committee (IRC)  promotes international trade in and understanding of refrigeration by the transfer of information and technology both to and from the UK and the opportunity to influence international developments.  To find out more about the recent activity of the IRC please see the newsletter below. 

IRC represents the UK at the International Institute of Refrigerat (IIR).  The IIR is an intergovernmental organisation representing 61 countries.  The IIR offers a range of technical information including informatory notes, international newsletters and publishes the International Journal of Refrigeration.  There is also a comprehensive on line shop and research database, FRIDOC.

Companies interested in gaining the benefits of being able to access these services and contribute to the work of the IIR by appointment to its influential Commissions can become members of the UK IRC.  In the UK the IRC also organises regular international conferences and promotes the availability of publications on new technology.
