Able to demonstrate considerable

theoretical and practical knowledge obtained in a senior role in industry.

Applicants normally have a combination of relevant qualifications (eg Degree, HND, Apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) and important responsibility but those with over 10 years senior experience and no qualifications will also be considered.

Associate AMInstR

Recognition of your experience to date in the RAC industry when allocated Associate status.

Able to demonstate considerable practical skills and an acceptable level of theoretical knowledge. 

Applicants normally have a combination of relevant qualifications (eg HNC, Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 2) and some technical responsibility but those with over 7 years relevant experience and no qualifications will also be considered.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR APPLICANTS

Guidelines for completing your application form - these notes help to explain the levels of experience and qualification required for each grade of membership.  Your membership grade will be allocated by the Membership Committee of the Institute who will evaluate the details provided on your application form and seek a reference from your nominated sponsor.

* The Subscrption year runs from beginning of April to end of March each year. Those joining part way through a year pay the full fee and are entitled to download past bulletins and material.  Fees are reviewed annually on 1st April. A £2 supplement is payable for those paying or renewing by credit card.
