Ist IIR Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain

Cambridge, 29th, 30th and 31st March 2010

The three day 1st IIR international conference on sustainability and the cold chain held in March 2010 in Cambridge, UK brought together 150 people from 25 countries with the knowledge and experience to influence the future of the food cold chain. The Conference 

The UK was proud to host the first international conference on the cold chain and sustainability. The conference attracted an international audience of researchers and industrialists. It was held in association with SIRAC the Sustainability in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning network which was set up in the UK in 2008 to drive the research agenda on sustainability for our sector.

Programme Design

The programme covered full two days with a wide variety of papers, short courses, technical tours and key note addresses from Don Cleland of Massey University, Jacques Guilpart, Xavier Meignien of the IIR and Andy Pearson as President of the IIR. Download conference programme here
