Library access for members

IOR members can use specialist technical libraries if they wish to view reference material such a IIR Journals and ASHRAE Databooks or Transactions.  The libraries often have extended opening hours allowing greater access to a wider range of material - at no charge.

 

The Engineering Services and Built Environment Reference Library at London South Bank University

The Perry Library provides access to a wide range of text books and reference material including ASHRAE Databooks and has extended opening hours. IOR members are granted reference access to view material (not to borrow or remove material off site) on production of a letter confirming their membership. Librarians are available to assist your search or you can email in advance to confirm if a required publication is held. Requests to receive an access letter should be submitted to the IOR at least 3 days in advance - use this contact form.

The Cambridge Refrigeration Technology Information Technology Service

The CRT library has a very diverse collection of books, papers and abstracts covering the carriage of perishable, dry and hazardous cargoes, refrigerated ship and container information, cold store design, and general refrigerated machinery. There is a large general reference section as well as product, and manufacturers publications. Archieves and periodicals are available including the Institute of Refrigeration library of past publications.
