Our ambassadors can:

• Deliver engaging classroom talks and workshops
• Support careers events and STEM fairs
• Share real-world industry experience 
• Inspire students into engineering and technical careers 
• Support employer engagement and curriculum enrichment

The STEM Ambassador Visit is just one of a range of resources available from the IOR. 

Free Resources include:

• Slide show on engineering and careers. You can download a PDF version here. Contact us to be sent a full editable PowerPoint to personalise.
• Fantastic Fridges online games and activities for all ages as well as information about the world of refrigeration science, careers quizzes, day in the life, etc.
• Careers in Cooling video on YouTube produced by the IOR explains the role of refrigeration and air conditioning in the modern world and interviews with people in various careers, including service engineers, business owners, supermarket sales, designers, researchers and professors.
• School activity on Climate Change designed for Year 9 students to explore Climate Change as part of the Geography curriculum. The slide deck was developed by Co-op group and is provided here with their kind permission.
