Graeme is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the IOR and a Member of CIBSE. He is Technical Director at the BESA Group, a Director at ACRIB, Past President of AREA, and President of the IOR (Institute of Refrigeration). With over 30 years’ experience in the HVACR sector - in building services air conditioning, heat pumps and refrigeration – since 2016 Graeme has been assisting contractors with their legal compliance and technical needs. He was the driving force in developing minimum competency levels globally to assist the developing world in meeting their Kigali Amendment requirements with the Refrigerant Driving Licence - a recently launched UNEP programme
Laura is a chartered mechanical engineer with 23 years of engineering experience with a number of blue-chip companies including Rolls Royce and E.ON Connecting Energies. She is a director for Hillside-Infinitas Ltd, an environmental consultancy with a strong focus on building decarbonisation and sustainability. Laura’s expertise is in the design and development of heat pump and heat network systems and she is a CIBSE Heat Network consultant. She is also Chair of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association which lobbies, trains and creates standards on behalf of the industry. One of Laura’s goals is to bust the myths surrounding heat pump deployment and to help clients make the most of decarbonisation technologies for their good and the good of the planet.
John has worked in the refrigeration industry for 39 years in various roles starting as an engineer in the field working on small commercial systems to large industrial applications. From field experience, contracting and technical support John has a wealth of knowledge based on solid basic principles and a practical approach to the business. John joined Danfoss in 1994 and has held various technical positions supporting the wholesaler business from a country level, through to regional and now global. John’s focus is the application of Danfoss components for commercial refrigeration along with being very passionate about training the next generation
